Our client is a leading consumer products company with an iconic brand and over $ 1 Billion in global retail sales. They are a company that fosters a culture based on teamwork and working hard but having fun while doing it. They are currently looking for someone to join their team in the role as Engineering Manager. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic capital plans and lead engineering at their flagship site and another site nearby. This person will be a technical leader counted on to drive plant operational goals, design technical strategies for utilities and infrastructure, as well as supporting the EHS Manager in ensuring plant environmental compliance for various programs. They are looking for someone who can work cross-functionally and build relationships. This person will report to the Sr Engineering Manager who was in the Engineering Manager role before being recently promoted. He is looking for a candidate who would have the potential to be able to step into his role in the future. Here are a few minimum qualifications for the role ? Bachelor s degree in engineering discipline ? Multiple years of experience in manufacturing technical leadership roles ? Strategic leadership competencies ? Lean methodology (TPM, Six Sigma, etc) experience ? Ideally experience in high-speed packaging/bottling environment
