Job Description:

EinScan Applications Engineer is fundamentally about the solution of our EinScan 3D products, assist in trouble shooting the products that our customers bought and bringing our after-sales service satisfaction growth to generate branding from the market in a way that achieves our sales goals.

What you'll do:--- Under minimal supervision, serve as SHINING 3D service to assigned customers; complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance, and service needs on designated equipment. May assist and/or train less experienced Applications Engineer.--- Own customer issues from dispatch or identification of issue to resolution.--- Proactively engage with other team members to ensure they are always aware of status of all issues for their designated customers.--- Effective communication with different level of employees and partner with teammates and colleagues.--- Maintain regular, frequent communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.--- Understand and communicate business goals and objectives to the broader team servicing assigned customers.--- Partner with the customer, recommend value-added services that will help the customer run their business more efficiently.--- Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service record and internal service records in a timely manner.--- Utilize the escalation process, as needed, and work closely with regional and national support to define and implement corrective action plans to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.--- Serve as a member of the account community for key accounts. Effectively engage commercial counterparts, identify potential sales leads, participate in sales opportunities such as renewals, and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs.--- Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building on and enhancing the relationship with the customer to ultimately become a perceived partner in their business.--- Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends.--- Identify business opportunities for the organization.--- Complete on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance and Field Modification Instruction as needed.--- May include application training of dental clinical or scientific staff on designated equipment.--- Research, Diagnose and troubleshoot customer technical problems.--- Ensure all services and problems logged in Salesforce.--- Assists Account Manager for online, offline demonstration.--- Perform training to resellers, users, account manager as requested.--- Technical support for company or partners' offline events like workshop, exhibitions, etc.--- Take care of repair work on the products, create case study, technical related knowledge and application.--- Convey customer requirements to internal team.
What you'll bring:--- Engineering background (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material science) Bachelor's degree in related, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related and 2+ years of experience servicing 3D electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education and 2+ years of experience servicing 3D electrical equipment; OR High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of experience servicing 3D electrical equipment.--- Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.--- Experience diagnosing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or 3D electronic equipment.--- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.--- Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products.--- The successful applicant must comply with SHINING 3D standard. In addition, during employment, the employee must comply with all customer access policies, including but not limited to obtaining and/or providing proof of required immunizations, and additional drug tests or background checks (including a federal government background check if assigned to support a contract with the federal government).--- Special Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time. Candidate must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
