Saginaw, MI | 2025-2026 School Year | Contract Two onsite openings
are available for Special Education Teachers specializing in
Resource Room instruction within a K-12 school setting in Saginaw,
Michigan. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year,
running approximately from January 26, 2026, through June 12, 2026.
Responsibilities: Provide inclusive, individualized instruction
primarily in self-contained classrooms, with caseloads up to 22
students. Support students ranging from Early Learning (pre-K)
through grade 12, with a focus on special education needs.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to
enhance student learning and address challenges unique to urban
education environments. Ensure compliance with Michigan
Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and related IDEA
federal regulations. Adapt teaching strategies based on students
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ongoing assessment
data. Preferred Qualifications: Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate
in Special Education. Endorsements in Emotional Impairment (EI),
Cognitively Impaired (CI), and/or Learning Disabilities (LD) for
Resource Room roles. Knowledge and practical experience with IDEA
regulations and MARSE guidelines. Understanding of challenges faced
by urban students and familiarity with appropriate support
resources. Full-time availability to commit 35 hours per week
onsite. Comfort working within an urban school district
environment. Additional Details: Interviews will be conducted
remotely. Positions require onsite presence due to client
requirements. Candidates should be prepared to discuss specialized
instruction approaches and knowledge related to the needs of urban
