Job Description CNC Set-up Machinist /nGrand Rapids, MI /n$24-32/hr. based on skills and experience /nDirect Hire /n /nKelly Services, in collaboration with a leading manufacturing organization is looking to hire several CNC Machinists to join the client's team on a permanent basis. Our client is experiencing ongoing growth and business expansion into 2025, having recently secured a new seven-year government contract. Enjoy job stability and a workplace that is not at risk of slow down! /n /nThis is a direct hire CNC Machinist position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire. /n /nBenefits: /n• 3 Weeks of PTO /n• Paid Holidays /n• 401(k) with 3% match /n• Maternity & Paternity leave /n• Tuition reimbursement /n• Benefits available 1st day of month following hire /n /nJob Details: /n• Two shift options available: /n Night Shift: 7:30pm-6:00am Monday – Thursday, enjoy a three-day weekend each week! /n Weekend Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm Friday-Sunday, work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours! /n /nPosition Information: /n• Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes including configuring machine settings, installing tools, and preparing materials according to process documentation /n• Complete quality inspections of parts including 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using calipers, comparators, gauges and CMM equipment /n• Deburr or rework of work in process as needed /n• Troubleshoot and correct equipment or tooling issues as well as completing operator level machine maintenance /n /nRequired Experience: /n• 2 years of experience with CNC Mill set-up and operation /n• Strong understanding of x, y, z axis, ability read blueprints, and ability to complete basic mathematical functions /n• Previous experience operating Citizen Swiss lathe preferred /n• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment /n• High school diploma or GED equivalent /n /nClick on Apply Now for instant consideration for this CNC Machinist position in Grand Rapids, MI.
