With no prior experience required. You will receive paid on the job trainning. We are seeking a Home Appliance Repair Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist with the repair, installation and maintenance of various machinery and equipment including washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and microwaves. WE TRAIN! If you have no experience in the trade, please do not let that deter you if you meet the qualifications below. If you are willing to learn the trade, we will teach you! If you are a chosen candidate, our service department will sponsor your tuition for online educational courses, and we will also pay you a wage to take the course! We are looking for great people to join our team. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Exceptional Driving Record Internet / Computer Skills 18 Years of Age Technical Aptitude or Strong Desire to Learn Your Own General Hand Tools Ability to lift 50 lbs. daily, and maneuver up to 250 lbs. occasionally Obtain CFC Certification (Refrigerant Recovery License) TRAITS DESIRED Self-Motivated Critical Thinking Ability to think through complex tasks Well-groomed Good customer service skills Good Listening skills Ability to self-manage Well-organized Detail Oriented Confident and Compassionate Willing to continue education perpetually to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry. Products repaired include the following home appliances: Washers, Dryers, Stoves, Microwaves, Compactors, Disposers, Refrigerators, and other home appliances. This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers appliances while maintaining high levels of customer service. Eight to ten service calls are dispatched each day. Full time technicians will typically start and stop their daily route from their home. You may be dispatched to any service area that we service which currently include Lansing, Jackson, St. Johns, Webberville and Grand Ledge. We work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
