Position: Lotus Notes Admin

Location: Byron Center, MI

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Support and troubleshoot mail and server issues, such as mail routing, mail agents and other mail server related issues.
Support users' requests for creation of databases, replications, messaging (mail, SMS, Page) requests; and other similar Domino's service requests
Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the Domino servers to ensure availability of the services to users
Monthly health check (Databases/ log size, Log content, dead mail, journal mailbox status, etc)
Assist in the evaluation of new products and technologies to enhance or improve the integrated office systems infrastructure
Assist in the provisions of statistics on Domino servers availability and other server related statistics and update of mail virus pattern files
Coordinate with Project Teams in the analysis, presentation and management of IT operations date and statistics.

Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology with 7-9 years' experience in designing, programming, testing and maintaining a Lotus Notes workflow system (containing forms, views, navigators, script libraries, pages, outlines, images & agents)
Other Domino and Sametime maintenance which deemed necessary to ensure system and performance stability
Relevant experience with IBM Lotus products for messaging and collaborations, such as Lotus Notes/Domino, Sametime (Meeting/Instant Messaging), Domino.Doc, HTTP, SMTP Gateways.
Experience in Lotus Notes Client (Domino), Internet Explorer/Web Browser (when deployed with a Web UI front)
Able to conduct unit, module, functional and volume testing to analyze test results and to take corrective action
Atleast 5 years hands-on experience in Lotus Domino Administration set up and maintenance
Must also have working experience in applying Windows and Linux patches, and troubleshooting windows and Linux server issues
Preferably with some knowledge and experience in VMWare Horizon View Virtual Desktop Administration set up and maintenance.
