serve as Family Office Accountant for our Family Office located in
Grand Rapids, MI. This position reports directly to the Family

Accountant will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day
operations of the family office, tax filings, and financial
analysis for a wide range of entities. Day-to-day accounting duties
include reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting.
This role requires a highly organized, detail oriented and
knowledgeable professional with a breadth of experience working
with high-net-worth individuals and complex entity structures. In
the spirit of a Family Office, entrepreneurial environment, this is
a hands-on position requiring a highly accountable, strategic and
cooperative/collaborative approach. It goes without saying that
integrity, confidentiality, and discretion are the cornerstones of
a successful employment relationship with Eenhoorn. Accounting
Responsibilities
- Day to Day accounts receivable and accounts payable operations
for the family office
- Comparing Actual Expenses to Budgeted Expenses
- Perform the month-end and year-end closing process
- Produce quarterly and annual financials for CFO and President
to review
- Promissory Note Management
- Tracking of all long-term pledges for the Family Office
Foundation
- Identify areas for process improvements and automationTax
Responsibilities
- Assistance with federal, state, and local income tax return
workpapers and preparation of state and local quarterly
estimates
- Research, respond to, and resolve tax notices and inquires
- Maintain proper record keeping of all tax filings
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and implement processes
that improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and
compliance activities
- Assist with maintaining Company's fixed assets schedules
- Assist with acquisitions and dissolutions by coordinating with
our Register AgentsFinancial Analysis Responsibilities
- Pull and review financial statements in preparation for
delivery third parties
- Assist with Proforma Cashflow spreading and analysis
- Assist with special projects related to Acquisitions,
Dispositions, and RefinancesEducation & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years related experienceQualifications &
Requirements
- General understanding of partnership tax returns
- Comprehensive computer skills
- Excellent organization skills; including the ability to
multi-task on numerous projects at once
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Must be detailed and analytical
- Uncompromised commitment to highest level of confidentiality in
all aspect of job responsibilities
- Valid Driver's License
- Excellent written and oral communication skillsEssential
