Job Title: Interim CFO Location: South Bend, IN Are you a seasoned financial leader ready to make an immediate impact? We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to guide our organization through a period of transition and growth. The Interim CFO will play a critical role in stabilizing our financial operations, providing strategic direction, and ensuring continuity in financial leadership. Responsibilities: Serve as the interim CFO , overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making during the interim period. Evaluate and enhance current financial systems and processes. Prepare the organization for a seamless handoff to a permanent CFO. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, bringing clarity and insight to complex financial matters. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture under the guidance of the interim CFO . Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors, on behalf of the interim CFO . Qualifications: Proven experience as a CFO, preferably in an interim CFO capacity. CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree in finance, accounting, or business administration. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence outcomes during periods of change. Ability to step into an interim CFO role with minimal onboarding time and deliver immediate value.
