Overview of the Recent Accounting Grad / Accounting Assistant role: • Greet clients professionally and serve as the first point of contact. • Receive, organize, and scan client documents into the firm's system. • Assemble completed tax returns and notify clients when they are ready. • Collect client signatures and process payments and bank deposits. • Assist with data entry and basic accounting tasks as skills and training progress. Preferred Qualifications for the Recent Accounting Grad / Accounting Assistant role: • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. • Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Eagerness to learn accounting and tax procedures. • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new systems.
