Description:As a key member of our Tax team, the position will assume a strategic role in high level tax oversight, client relationship management, and team development. The primary day-to-day responsibilities may involve; tax planning, individual and business tax return review, building and maintaining local business professional network, strategic planning, engagement planning and oversight, quality control review, mentoring and training staff.ResponsibilitiesPreparation and review of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Corporation and S Corporation tax returnsAssist with tax planningTeam oversight, training, and developmentNetworking with local businesses and community membersOversees tax engagementsParticipates and contributes to firm wide strategic planning and goalsCommunity business developmentPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelors degree in AccountingActive CPA licenseMinimum of 5 years of related public accounting experienceProven leadership abilitiesQualificationsProficient technical tax knowledgeMust enjoy 'taking care' of their clientsProven time and project management skills, able to effectively manage client relationships and workloadProfessional and personablePractices a high level of inclusion and collaboration skillsPays close attention to detailAble to adapt to multiple businesses/industriesPrefers a fast-paced, hands-on work environment, able to handle stress and deadlinesEmbraces technology and uses it to improve processesJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Overtime* Year round workWork Location: Hybrid remote in Grand Rapids, MI 49546by Jobble
