Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounting Associate in Ada, MI to join their team.Summary:This client is a privately held construction company. They have a laid-back environment and allow jeans on Fridays. They offer a strong benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, and 3 weeks of vacation. This role will be fully in office.Responsibilities will include:

• 
  Accounting Associate will review, code and process vendor invoices
  
  
• 
  Prepare AR Invoices
  
  
• 
  Perform AP and AR data entry
  
  
• 
  Assist with month-end AP close
  
  
• 
  As an Accounting Associate, you will Reconcile AP vendor statements and accounts
  
  
• 
  Prepare, track and record lien waivers
  
  
• 
  Identify, review, and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  
  
• 
  Generate vendor payments
  
  
• 
  Accounting Associate will file vendor invoices and checks
  
  
• 
  Respond to vendor inquiries
  
  
• 
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  
  
• 
  5 years of accounting experience
  
  
• 
  Real estate experience
  
  
• 
  Experience with Sage 300
  
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail
  
  
• 
  Strong communication skills
  
  
• 
  Construction experience is a plus
  
  
  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
