We are currently seeking an experienced Controller to join our team and lead our accounting department.
Job Description: As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department. You will manage a team of accounting professionals and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining financial policies and procedures, developing and implementing internal controls, and managing the annual audit process.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  
• Lead the monthly and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial statements and reports.
  
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  
• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
  
• Manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  
• Oversee the utilization of SAGE accounting software, including training and support for accounting staff.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information and provide financial analysis and support as needed.
  
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
    
  • 5+ years of experience in a controller or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
    
  • Experience with SAGE accounting software or similar ERP system.
    
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of accounting professionals.
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
