Accountant - Remote - -Position Summary -Make a meaningful

fundraising, is looking for an Accountant. The ideal candidate is a
strong communicator with the ability to source problems and help
devise appropriate solutions and has excellent analytical skills
with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and financial
systems, enabling him or her to easily analyze data and build
financial reports and ad hoc analysis. - -What You will Do -
Support month-end close processes
including:Creating monthly journal entries Recording
inventory-related entries and performing related
analysisReconciling balance sheet account
reconciliationsMaintaining the fixed asset ledgersEnsuring
financial records are in compliance with GAAP principlesAssist
Accounting Clerk with daily and monthly process of vendor payments,
billing and collections, and forecasting.Liaise with the Accounting
Manager to improve financial procedures.Develop and document
business processes and accounting policies to maintain and
strengthen internal controlsSupport external audits to ensure
complianceAssist with tax returns and auditsSupport Accounting
Manager with other duties as needed, including acquisition and
integration work -Who You Are - -
1-3 years of accounting
experienceStrong knowledge of GAAPThorough understanding of basic
accounting proceduresExperience with general ledger functions and
the month-end close processProficiency with accounting software
packagesIntermediate/Advanced Excel skillsAffinity and adaptability
to new technologiesAccuracy and attention to detailBachelor's
